I have been taking Pradaxa since the first of the year. I have had no side effects. I have had two heart ablations since I started it. I like because there is no PT/INR testing.

The huge capsule is a floater, very difficult to swallow, it feels like I’m trying to swallow a helium balloon, I worry about aspirating the capsule. What’s up with that? Why not make it easy to swallow? Why does it spoil so quickly,? It tastes awful, what is the capsule made of?

The only possible side effect I experienced was mild stomach discomfort for about the first ten days, no side effects since.
