I have countless food and environmental allergies which cause my nasal passages to swell and my skin to itch. I need a host of treatments all-year-round including regular allergy shots, singulair, and a nasal spray. Thank you Pennsylvania weather. I was sad to learn my insurance no longer covered Veramyst and sugggested Qnasl instead. I went on the Qnasl website and watched the short video show...

Easy to use, and that's all.. it made my nose runny all day, then my throat got sore and I got flu like symptoms. . Switched back to flonase and those symptoms went away. It was essentially like taking nothing.

I used Veramyst for years, which worked great, but made me irritable and angry. Nasonex, Flonase, etc, did nothing to shrink polyps or ease congestion from year-round allergies. My doc gave me a sample of Qnasl because of its powder form and possible having less side effects. It's been a few weeks and it has worked very well so far. I only use one spray per nostril daily, unless I feel more congested, then I will use two. Overall I am satisfied and am so glad that I'm not having bad side effects!!!Read More Read Less

I have been using another nasal steroid spray, but my doctor prescribed Qnasl. The first day of application went fine. When I applied the spray today, the second day, within a 5 to 7 minutes I experienced an allergic reaction. Initially the medication burned on application for a few seconds, then my nose started running, I started sneezing, and my mouth began to itch. At that point I realized I was having an allergic reaction and took an antihistamine. The itching progressed to my face, head neck and chest, and then the symptoms began to subside. Now, a little over an hour after the antihistamine I am just itching a little. I will not take this drug again.Read More Read Less

Although Qnasl relieved my post nasal drip and cleared my sinuses, it would upset my stomach. I also had more of an appetite, gaining 3# in three weeks.

I have suffered from recurring nasal polyps for the past five years. For the last 3 years my only relief came from high doses of Prednisone. In Aug. 2012, my doctor suggested Qnasl. Five weeks later my sense of taste and smell had returned. It is now 20 weeks later and I have had no return of my congestion or polyps. I truly believe that Qnasl shrank the polyps and gave me back my life. I highly recommend that ANYONE suffering from nasal polyps ask their doctor for this spray.
