This nasal spray has been the most effective spray I have used. And I have used them all over the past thirty years. I mostly wanted to review this, because of people talking about the taste. You shouldn't be tasting anything!!! Read the instructions, you are using it wrong. Keep your head down, and sniff very gently. If you are tasting the medicine, then you are sniffing way too hard or pick...

This spray does a good job opening up the sinuses. However, the taste of it is so horrible that I would rather deal with allergy symptoms. The taste causes me to gag every time and lingers far too long. My doc assured me that unlike Astelin or Astepro, this drug was improved to the point of not having a bad taste. He couldn't have been more wrong. Again, I would rather live with the allergy s...

Had an ear infection due to allergies and fluid draining into my ear for the past 3-4 months. Immediately following the 1st spray of sample, pressure began to ease. Read about nose bleeds and bad taste, but had nose bleeds frequently as a child and medicine has never tasted good to me so I'm ok. If I can sleep all night tonight without being awaken by the sound of my pulse in my left ear, the a little nose bleed and the bad taste will be worth it!I've been unable to sleep well for months. Thanks for the trick of holding your head down. Read More Read Less

It has been has been a godsend for me! Yes it tastes bad but as many people said if you keep your head back it's not as bad. I only use once a day and have a a few minor nose bleeds. Also when I get the bad taste I have a glass of chocolate of milk

This is a combination of two generic drugs whose patents have expired. The copay is out of sight. It should be illegal to combine two old drugs, put a new name on it and charge a fortune for it! Where us the FDA? And my taste buds are now non-functioning!

This medication has a very strong pungent chemical scent to it and I have asthma and sensitivity to chemicals. Not a good mix. I stopped after the second treatment because It gave me asthma attacks and it lingers in nostrils for a hour.

I have been using Dymista for a couple of years. Have occasionally had mild nosebleeds and dry mouth at night (not due to mouth breathing). The trick for minimizing the nasty taste is to at least keep your head forward for a couple of minutes after spraying. If I bother to bend over and hold my head upside down for 30 seconds, it seems to send the medicine up and doesn't seem to run back down the throat. Even at its worst, the bad taste is better than sinus congestion and subsequent infections. When I have had a nosebleed, not using it for one or more doses seems to allow healing enough to start using it again.Read More Read Less

This medication is a bit price but after two weeks it's in my opinion a better option than Nasonex. Still though, I'm not able to sleep through the night and sinus surgery is scheduled for Thursday February 20, 2014.

I got a terrific headache from the spray. I could only use it once because I got such terrible head pain. I would rather deal with the allergy. Sorry, but there has to be something better out there that can relieve one's symptoms and not have such adverse side effects.

I have both seasonal allergies as well as allergies to everyday allergens such as dogs, cats, dust, mold, etc. My symptoms include runny nose, itchy eyes, and sneezing (all day long when allergens are bad). Up until I used Dymista, the only allergy medications that were effective were Benadryl and Rhinocort. My allergist prescribed me Dymista a couple of years ago. When I consistently use it, it works well; sometimes it takes a few days to start having effects after I have stopped using it for a while. I am someone that often feels tired (I am a medical student so my schedule is quite busy), especially when my allergies are at their worst. Thus, it is hard for me to say whether this drug has made me feel tired or not; I certainly would take feeling slightly tired over the brain fog that my severe allergies sometimes put me in. I personally don't mind the scent of this nasal spray; if it goes down your throat (which happens maybe 1 out of every 10 uses/days for me), there is an interesting taste but it goes away pretty quickly. Compared to every other allergy drug I have used in my life (I've tried everything), I am very pleased with Dymista. As long as I consistently use it (i.e. one time per day in each nostril), I do not experience my allergies.Read More Read Less

I don't get the itchy eyes, sneezing, runny nose - just sinus pressure and headaches during allergy season. Because I was having more issues on one side of my head than the other - not draining properly and occasional sinus infections, I decided to see an ENT in case there were polyps or other issues. My ENT gave me a sample of Dymista after my exam & not finding any polyps or other abnormalities. Why in the world would any drug company use a rose scent in an allergy medication? About 5 seconds after using Dymista, I got a very bad headache, and the pressure in my sinuses actually INCREASED. I could smell roses for several hours. Since I'm allergic to roses, I won't be using this product again. I'll go back to my normal treatment of using a decongestant & ibuprofen when I get a sinus headache. Read More Read Less

I find it very odd that a spray for allergy relief would be rose scented? How does that make sense. It seems to make my symptoms worse, and has not relieved any of the feeling of fullness in my ears.

This has been a miracle for me! I have had sinus surgery and felt worse. After using nasonex and another spray together (which was over $350 a month) Dymista has replaced both for only $49 a month. The only problem is when I have to use a little more frequently and run out before my insurance will cover the script.

I have had a chronic cough for years. I took OTC allergy meds and cough meds but nothing helped for long. An allergist tested me and no seasonal allergies existed. He said I have a severe nasal drip causing the cough. Bingo. Since taking Dymista my problem is gone. Wonderful drug!

The biggest problem with this drug is that you need to blow your nose and have both nostrils clear before you can use it. Which is sort of redundant, because if my nostrils were ever clear, I wouldn't need the drug. When it works, it works wonders, but in my case, that's only about 75% of the time.

I have been using this for about six months to clear up allergies and inflammation. It worked great for a while. Now it gives me headaches and causes dizziness. I stopped using it.

I get severe swelling in my sinus'. I couldn't sleep or even breath. I took the spray and 10 minutes later, my nasal passages cleared up. I only use the spray once a day because it did cause my nose to bleed, pretty bad. Yes, the taste is horrid. Before I use the spray, I clean my nose with the neti-pot. Wait about 10 min and then use the spray. I also use the neti-pot before I go to bed. My ENT prescribed this medication aftet 1 visit. I was with my allergist for 2 years before I got this medication. The nasal spray even stopped the itching in my ears, throat and the top of my mouth. This spray is a miracle!! Read More Read Less

Medco replaced dymista with nasanex and now I feel like I am breathing through a spounge after 5 days off dymista. Calling my doctor and medco tomorrow to request a change back. I am reduced to breathing through my mouth now and not sleeping well.
