I believe persons should take this drug as a first line of defense before opting for bypass surgery. If I knew what I know now, I would never have had a Five-Bypass Surgery (CABG). Most doctors wouldn't believe what I have done to keep myself alive. Except one; my present cardiologist. 62 planning to be 80

I have had massive headaches since the first pill. Lots of weakness and light headed. I just had two more stents placed a month ago. Don't think its more scar tissue so soon but who knows without more angioplasty... I have never had plaque in my arteries. My heart attack was from dissection only. 11 stents now from scar tissue. I hate the way this drug makes me feel... but it makes me not have to have angiogram again so soon I will suffer through it.

Suffered with chronic chest pain for 2yrs. Upon getting a third opinion, the cardiologist added Imdur to my current list of meds. (Bystolic and procardia)

Headaches, bloating on starting dose of 30mg, eased off after 4 weeks. At 8 weeks dose increased to 60mg began having severe abdominal pain, nausea then diarrhea with in 12 hours. Also burning like acid indigestion relived immeadiately with antacid. Had to stop, diarrhea finally starting to ease off.

Just started taking this med, but the side effects, especially the headaches, are so incapacitating that I'm now afraid to take it again. I was liteheaded, dizzy, felt like my head was going to explode. Not to mention, I still had recurring angina thruout the day anyways. Cardiac angigram scheduled for next week.

The headache was so bad I couldn't endure it. Nothing knocked it back, and any movement at all made me vomit. Couldn't wait for the med to get out of my system. Will NEVER take that med again.

I have taken this drug since my 1st heart attack - never had any sx I thought were related to Imdur - cold feet, flushing, some headaches are and were always a problem. Ran out of my rx 2 wks. ago and I have not had any adverse effects. However, after reading it opens blood vessels I will contact my cardiologist for his input.

I am 63 years old and having hypertension for last 10 years.I was having chest pain on exercising on brisk walking two years back .I underwent angioplasty and was advised this drug IMDUR- 60 once a day.I am very much satisfied with this drug as chest pain is almost disappeared and I do not have any appreciable side effect. As sidnafill is not advised along with this drug can any body suggest me what drug should be taken for avoiding chest pain during sexual activity.

I have only taken the medication for 1 month. The chest pain, upon exercise, has improved. I have other unusual feelings with hot flashes that have minimal improvement. Unknown if these are related to the angina or not.

I have been taking this medicine for 10 days now, most of the chest pain has gone, and the head aches aren't that bad anymore. What worries me though is that my skin has started to itch giving me trouble sleeping at nights so I am tired at daytime. Luckily, I got an appointment with my cardiologist in three days.
