This has actually been for my 78 year old mother, who after having a T-2 illiac Posterior Spinal Fusion surgery, threw some blood clots to her lungs. Thankfully the pro-active surgeon had an IVC filter placed the day prior to her HUGE surgery and her clot was detoured to the lungs which could be treated, instead of a fatal area such as the brain or heart. I take coumaden and not the generic warfarin. My side effects are fatigue, waking up anxious, and hair loss. My main complaint is that it seems to have affected my personality, making me more worried, anxious, depressed. I take 7.5 mg per day, and have for over one year. My experience has been good, but since I will be finishing the 6 month treatment protocal, I have no idea about use of "pain meds" such as asperin. How long do I wait until I take these again?
