Usually, I do not like to medicate my three year old, but when he woke up one morning saying his head was hurting and had a fever, I had no choice but to give him CHILDREN'S MOTRIN and it worked wonders! About 30 minutes later, he was feeling much better and participated in his normal daily activities.

this medication only reduces my daughter's fever for about 2 hours, then the fever returns. I am switching to tylenol which i can give every 4 hours instead of this which the bottle says you can only give every 6-8 hours.

I purchased this medicine for my little because it was doctor recommended. It was a need base purchase to reduce her fever and some of the discomfort that she was having. They stated that it would be the best in reducing her fever. I purchased the medicine and shortly after her fever was gone and she was resting. She slept well through the night. Children’s Motrin is a name that I trust. Therefore, I was not hesitant at all when my doctor recommended that I purchase this product. I have also used other fever reducer products for my little one, such as Tylenol and it did not reduce her fever at all, so Motrin was the choice brand. Motrin allowed her to sleep through the night and she did not spike a fever the next day. Motrin did the job. Read More Read Less

My 2 1/2 year old had adenoids removed and ear tubes inserted yesterday. The children's motrin is very effective at pain and fever relief, but she became markedly hyperactive after each dose - hyperactivity lasts for hours. I wonder if other parents' have observed this.
