Your Overall Testosterone Health Check Score
The overall Health Check score is comprised of a Health Score, a Well-Being score, and a Knowledge score.
Health Score
The Testosterone Health Score was developed by a team of medical experts at WebMD to help patients better understand how factors related to diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring can impact their life.
A Testosterone Health Check Health Score of:
For someone already on testosterone replacement therapy or someone already diagnosed with a medical condition for which a physician has recommended testosterone replacement therapy:
- 35-50
Generally reflects a man in whom the results of testosterone therapy are viewed as acceptable and who has few chronic medical conditions that he says are not under active medical care.
- 27-35
Generally reflects a man in whom the results of testosterone therapy are viewed as minimally satisfactory and who has few medical conditions that he says are not under active medical care.
- 20-27
Generally reflects a man in whom the results of testosterone therapy are viewed as minimally satisfactory and who has several medical conditions that he says are not under active medical care.
- Less than 20
Generally reflects a man in whom the results of testosterone therapy are viewed as less than satisfactory and who has several medical conditions that he says are not under active medical care.
For someone not currently receiving testosterone replacement therapy and not already diagnosed with a medical condition meriting testosterone replacement therapy:
- 40-50
Generally reflects a man with a minimal, if any, level of impairment that might be due to insufficient testosterone effect.
- 30-39
Generally reflects a man with a moderate level of impairment that might be due to insufficient testosterone effect.
- Less than 30
Generally reflects a man with a high level of impairment that might be due to insufficient testosterone effect.

- 10-11

Generally reflects a man who has had a severe but gradual decline in his normal perceptions of his health or of his function at work, in social settings, and sexually.
Knowledge Score
A team of medical experts at WebMD developed the Testosterone Knowledge Score to help patients be better informed about low testosterone levels and thereby make better medical decisions.

- 20-25
Generally reflects an excellent overall understanding of testosterone and how a low level of testosterone may be associated with less than optimal health and wellbeing.
- 15-19
Generally reflects an acceptable overall understanding of testosterone and how a low level of testosterone may be associated with less than optimal health and wellbeing.
- Less than 15
Generally reflects less than an ideal overall understanding of testosterone and how a low level of testosterone may be associated with less than optimal health and wellbeing.
