I have had a swollen feet, legs and sometimes all over the body swelling due to this drug. Feet so swollen that it hurt to walk. For the last 6 months I have lived with this. This is not a good drug to be on, with this type of side effect!

Was on Lipitor and then Zetia. Both had adverse side effects for me like muscle cramping and weakness. So far, after 3 weeks, no adverse reaction to Crestor.

after having a heart attack,my doctor wanted rto reduce my total cholesterol level from 205. I took some of the other cholesterol drugs, but none gave me the results that crestor did, My total cholesterol was reduced to 113 in 3 months. I did have a prescription for genericlipitor which made me feel horrible, after contacting my doctor he took me off of it and gave me the crestor and i have been fine since . stay away from generic lipitor.

This medication did a good job of dropping my cholesterol levels. I quit because of the extreme muscle pains it caused in my lower back and some leg muscles. These were so severe that I could barely get out of bed and could not drive safely. Once I stopped, within two weeks I was back to normal.
